Author Guidelines
Global Journal of Agricultural Engineering (GJAGE) publishes peer-reviewed, high-quality research in agricultural engineering, including farm machinery, irrigation engineering, soil and water engineering, post-harvest technology, renewable energy in agriculture, and precision farming systems. Manuscripts must be original, rigorous, and contribute to engineering innovation in agriculture.
1. General Requirements
- Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere
- Articles must follow the official journal template
- Use clear and formal academic English
- All submissions undergo double-blind peer review
- Engineering methods and results must be accurate and reproducible
2. Manuscript Structure
Title
Maximum 15 words. Must clearly reflect the engineering system or agricultural application studied.
Author Information
- Full names without academic titles
- Affiliation: department, institution, city, country
- Email of corresponding author
Abstract
150–250 words in one paragraph. Must include background, objective, methods, results, and conclusion. Avoid citations and undefined abbreviations.
Keywords
Provide 3–5 keywords related to agricultural engineering.
Introduction
- Explain background and agricultural engineering context
- Identify problem or technical gap
- State research objectives
- Provide brief literature review
- Highlight novelty and contribution
Materials and Methods
- Describe equipment, machinery, or systems used
- Explain design, modeling, or experimental procedures
- Provide technical specifications and parameters
- Describe testing or simulation methods
Results
- Present findings clearly and systematically
- Use tables, graphs, and engineering diagrams
- Report performance indicators (efficiency, capacity, energy use, etc.)
Discussion
- Interpret results based on engineering principles
- Compare with existing systems or technologies
- Explain improvements and applications
- Discuss limitations
Conclusion
- Summarize key findings
- Highlight engineering contributions
- Provide recommendations for application and future research

3. Technical Standards
- Use SI units consistently
- Clearly describe system design and components
- Provide reproducible procedures

- Must be cited in the text
- Use high-quality diagrams and images
5. References
- Use APA 7th Edition style
- Minimum 15 references
- At least 80% from recent scholarly sources
- Arrange alphabetically
- Include DOI or URL when available
6. Publication Ethics
- Follow COPE guidelines
- No plagiarism, falsification, or fabrication
- Proper citation is mandatory
- All authors must approve the submission
