Author Guidelines
Global Journal of Animal Science (GJANS) publishes peer-reviewed, high-quality research in animal science, including animal nutrition, breeding and genetics, livestock production, animal health, veterinary science, and sustainable livestock systems. Manuscripts must be original, rigorous, and contribute to the advancement of animal science.
1. General Requirements
- Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere
- Articles must follow the official journal template
- Use clear and formal academic English
- All submissions undergo double-blind peer review
- Experimental methods and results must be accurate and reproducible
2. Manuscript Structure
Title
Maximum 15 words. Must clearly reflect the topic in animal science.
Author Information
- Full names without academic titles
- Affiliation: department, institution, city, country
- Email of corresponding author
Abstract
150–250 words in one paragraph. Must include background, objective, methods, results, and conclusion. Avoid citations and undefined abbreviations.
Keywords
Provide 3–5 keywords related to animal science.
Introduction
- Explain scientific background and context
- Identify research problem or gap
- State research objectives
- Provide brief literature review
- Highlight novelty and contribution
Materials and Methods
- Describe animals, breeds, or biological materials used
- Explain experimental design and procedures
- Provide details of feed, environment, and management
- Describe analytical and statistical methods
Results
- Present findings clearly and systematically
- Use tables and figures where necessary
- Report measurements such as growth, productivity, or health indicators
Discussion
- Interpret results based on animal science principles
- Compare with previous studies
- Explain implications for livestock production or animal health
- Discuss limitations
Conclusion
- Summarize key findings
- Highlight contributions to animal science
- Provide recommendations for practice and future research

3. Ethical Considerations
