Author Guidelines
Global Journal of Chemistry (GJCHE) publishes peer-reviewed, high-quality research in chemistry, including organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, materials chemistry, environmental chemistry, and applied chemistry. Manuscripts must be original, rigorous, and contribute to the advancement of chemical science.
1. General Requirements
- Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere
- Articles must follow the official journal template
- Use clear and formal academic English
- All submissions undergo double-blind peer review
- Experimental methods and results must be accurate and reproducible
2. Manuscript Structure
Title
Maximum 15 words. Must clearly reflect the chemical topic or study.
Author Information
- Full names without academic titles
- Affiliation: department, institution, city, country
- Email of corresponding author
Abstract
150–250 words in one paragraph. Must include background, objective, methods, key results, and conclusion. Avoid citations and undefined abbreviations.
Keywords
Provide 3–5 keywords related to chemistry.
Introduction
- Explain scientific background and context
- State research problem clearly
- Provide brief literature review
- Highlight novelty and contribution
Materials and Methods
- Describe materials, reagents, and instruments used
- Explain experimental procedures clearly
- Provide conditions such as temperature, pressure, and concentration
- Describe analytical techniques (e.g., spectroscopy, chromatography)
Results
- Present experimental or theoretical results clearly
- Use tables, graphs, and spectra where necessary
- Report measurements with appropriate units
Discussion
- Interpret results based on chemical principles
- Compare with previous studies
- Explain mechanisms or reactions if applicable
- Discuss implications and limitations
Conclusion
- Summarize key findings
- Highlight contributions to chemistry
- Suggest future research directions

3. Chemical Nomenclature and Units
- Use IUPAC nomenclature standards
- Use SI units consistently
- Clearly define chemical symbols and abbreviations
- Report concentrations and conditions accurately
4. Tables and Figures
- Number tables and figures sequentially
- Provide clear titles and captions
- Must be cited in the text
- Use high-resolution images (e.g., spectra, diagrams)
5. References
- Use APA 7th Edition style
- Minimum 15 references
- At least 80% from recent scholarly sources
- Arrange alphabetically
- Include DOI or URL when available
6. Publication Ethics
- Follow COPE guidelines
- No plagiarism, falsification, or fabrication
- Proper citation is mandatory
- All authors must approve the submission
