Author Guidelines

Global Journal of Informatics (GJINF) publishes peer-reviewed, high-quality research in informatics, computer science, and information technology, including software engineering, artificial intelligence, data science, information systems, cybersecurity, and network systems. Manuscripts must be original, rigorous, and contribute to technological innovation and digital transformation.


1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere
  • Articles must follow the official journal template
  • Use clear and formal academic English
  • All submissions undergo double-blind peer review
  • Methods, algorithms, and results must be clearly explained and reproducible

2. Manuscript Structure

Title
Maximum 15 words. Must clearly reflect the research topic or system developed.

Author Information

  • Full names without academic titles
  • Affiliation: department, institution, city, country
  • Email of corresponding author

Abstract
150–250 words in one paragraph. Must include background, objective, method, results, and conclusion. Avoid citations and undefined abbreviations.

Keywords
Provide 3–5 keywords related to informatics or computer science.

Introduction

  • Explain research background and technological context
  • Identify problem or research gap
  • State objectives clearly
  • Provide brief literature review
  • Highlight novelty and contribution

Materials and Methods

  • Describe system architecture, models, or frameworks
  • Explain algorithms or techniques used
  • Provide dataset information if applicable
  • Describe implementation tools (e.g., programming languages, platforms)

Results

  • Present results clearly and systematically
  • Include tables, graphs, or system outputs
  • Report performance metrics (accuracy, precision, recall, etc.)

Discussion

  • Interpret results logically
  • Compare with previous studies or models
  • Explain improvements and limitations
  • Discuss practical implications

Conclusion

  • Summarize key findings
  • Highlight contributions
  • Suggest future research directions

Additional Sections

  • Acknowledgments (optional)
  • Funding information
  • Author contributions
  • Conflict of interest statement
  • Data availability statement
  • Declaration of AI use

3. Technical Standards

  • Clearly present algorithms and workflows
  • Use standard notation and terminology
  • Ensure reproducibility of results
  • Provide evaluation metrics and benchmarks

4. Tables and Figures

  • Number tables and figures sequentially
  • Provide clear titles and captions
  • Must be cited in the text
  • Use high-quality diagrams and charts

5. References

  • Use APA 7th Edition style
  • Minimum 15 references
  • At least 80% from recent scholarly sources
  • Arrange alphabetically
  • Include DOI or URL when available

6. Publication Ethics

  • Follow COPE guidelines
  • No plagiarism, falsification, or fabrication
  • Proper citation is mandatory
  • All authors must approve the submission

8. Peer Review Process

  • Initial screening by editorial team
