Author Guidelines
Global Journal of Statistics (GJSTA) publishes peer-reviewed, high-quality research in statistics, including statistical theory, applied statistics, data science, biostatistics, econometrics, and computational statistics. Manuscripts must be original, rigorous, and contribute to statistical methodology or application.
1. General Requirements
- Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere
- Articles must follow the official journal template
- Use clear and formal academic English
- All submissions undergo double-blind peer review
- Statistical methods and results must be clearly presented and reproducible
2. Manuscript Structure
Title
Maximum 15 words. Must clearly reflect the statistical topic or method used.
Author Information
- Full names without academic titles
- Affiliation: department, institution, city, country
- Email of corresponding author
Abstract
150–250 words in one paragraph. Must include problem statement, objective, methodology, key results, and conclusion. Avoid citations and undefined symbols.
Keywords
Provide 3–5 keywords related to statistical methods or applications.
Introduction
- Explain background and motivation
- Define research problem clearly
- Provide brief literature review
- Highlight novelty and contribution
Methods / Statistical Approach
- Describe statistical models and assumptions
- Explain data sources and sampling methods
- Define variables and parameters
- Describe estimation, testing, or computational techniques
Results
- Present statistical findings clearly
- Include tables, figures, or outputs where necessary
- Report measures such as confidence intervals, p-values, or effect sizes
Discussion
- Interpret results logically
- Compare with existing studies or models
- Explain implications for theory and application
- Discuss limitations
Conclusion
- Summarize key findings
- Highlight contributions
- Suggest future research directions

3. Statistical Reporting Standards
- Clearly state assumptions of statistical models
- Report sample size and data characteristics
- Provide reproducible analysis when possible
- Include software or tools used (e.g., R, Python, SPSS)
4. Tables and Figures
- Number tables and figures sequentially
- Provide clear titles and captions
- Must be cited in the text
- Use high-quality format
5. References
- Use APA 7th Edition style
- Minimum 15 references
- At least 80% from recent scholarly sources
- Arrange alphabetically
- Include DOI or URL when available
6. Publication Ethics
- Follow COPE guidelines
- No plagiarism, falsification, or fabrication
- Proper citation is mandatory
- All authors must approve the submission
