Author Guidelines

Global Journal of Food Technology (GJFTP) publishes peer-reviewed, high-quality research in food technology, including food processing, food safety, food chemistry, food microbiology, nutrition, and product development. Manuscripts must be original, rigorous, and contribute to the advancement of food science and technology.

1. General Requirements

Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere
Articles must follow the official journal template
Use clear and formal academic English
All submissions undergo double-blind peer review
Experimental methods and results must be accurate and reproducible

2. Manuscript Structure

Title
Maximum 15 words. Must clearly reflect the food technology topic or product studied.

Author Information

Full names without academic titles
Affiliation: department, institution, city, country
Email of corresponding author

Abstract
150–250 words in one paragraph. Must include background, objective, methods, results, and conclusion. Avoid citations and undefined abbreviations.

Keywords
Provide 3–5 keywords related to food technology.

Introduction

Explain background and context of food technology
Identify research problem or gap
State research objectives
Provide brief literature review
Highlight novelty and contribution

Materials and Methods

Describe raw materials and ingredients
Explain processing methods and experimental design
Provide details of equipment and conditions
Describe analytical methods (e.g., chemical, microbiological, sensory tests)

Results

Present findings clearly and systematically
Use tables, graphs, and images where necessary
Report measurements with appropriate units

Discussion

Interpret results based on food science principles
Compare with previous studies
Explain implications for product development or safety
Discuss limitations

Conclusion

Summarize key findings

Follow recognized food safety standards

Must be cited in the text
Use high-quality images and charts

5. References

Use APA 7th Edition style
Minimum 15 references
At least 80% from recent scholarly sources
Arrange alphabetically
Include DOI or URL when available

Follow COPE guidelines
No plagiarism, falsification, or fabrication
Proper citation is mandatory
All authors must approve the submission
