Global Journal of Law (GJLAW) is committed to protecting authors’ rights while ensuring the widest possible dissemination of scholarly work through an open access publishing model.

Copyright Policy

Authors retain full copyright of their published articles without restriction. Upon acceptance of the manuscript, authors grant Global Journal of Law (GJLAW) a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, distribute, and archive the work in all formats and media.

As part of the publication process, authors are required to complete and sign a License to Publish agreement. This agreement confirms that:

  • The submitted work is original and free from plagiarism
  • The manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere
  • All listed authors have made significant contributions and approved the final version
  • The content does not infringe any existing copyright or intellectual property rights

License to Publish (LTP)

Authors must complete and submit the License to Publish form prior to publication. The signed document is required to proceed with the editorial and production process.

Licensing Terms

All articles published in Global Journal of Law (GJLAW) are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

CC BY-SA 4.0 License

This license permits:

  • Use, sharing, and distribution in any medium or format
  • Adaptation, modification, and reproduction for any purpose, including commercial use

Under the following conditions:

  • Proper attribution must be given to the original author(s) and the source
  • A link to the license must be provided
  • Any modifications must be clearly indicated
  • Derivative works must be distributed under the same license (ShareAlike)

Author Rights and Responsibilities

Authors retain broad rights over their work, including:

  • The right to reuse and republish the article in future scholarly works
  • The right to deposit the published version in institutional or subject repositories
  • The right to share the article through academic platforms and personal websites

Authors are responsible for ensuring that any third-party material included in their manuscript has obtained appropriate permission and is properly acknowledged.

Third-Party Content

Any material not owned by the author must be clearly identified and accompanied by written permission from the copyright holder. Proper attribution must be provided in accordance with applicable copyright laws.
